In my last post I showed a picture of garlic ham and cheese rolls and cream cheese danish. I didn't post the recipes because it was just something I made on the fly because I had all that dough. Anyway so here is what I did.
Cream cheese danish
Filling:
1/2 of an eight oz package of cream cheese
1/4 cup of sugar
1 egg (I had a very small banny egg. I would not use all of a large egg)
1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring
In a bowl add softened cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla stir to combine.
Roll dough into rectangle. Spread with cream cheese filling.Roll up and slice.
Place in a greased baking dish (they should be touching) bake at 350 about 20 minutes
or until brown and done.
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbls milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
In a small bowl combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir adding more or less milk to get a glaze consistency. Spread on rolls once they have cooled slightly.
Garlic Ham and Cheese Rolls
Roll dough into a circle brush with melted butter with chopped garlic in it. Cut dough into wedges like cresent rolls layer with a piece of ( I used sandwhich ham) sprinkle with cheese. Roll up each wedge place on greased pizza pan brush with more garlic butter and sprinkle with more cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
Thanks so much for sharing these! This is just what I was wanting to know! :)
